DUROPRIME™ PU is a moisture curing, single pack, liquid polyurethane penetrating waterproofing primer. It is formulated to be compatible with the DUROPROOF™ range. Our unique crosslinking technology chemical bonds DUROPRIME™ PU to our DUROPROOF™ product range providing an exceptionally strong system. DUROPRIME™ PU as a primer improves the adhesion and preformance of the membrane by locking down the surface which improves the spreading and application of the subsequent membranes, provides a penetrative secondary waterproof barrier and improves the coverage of the DUROPROOF™ membrane range. DUROPRIME™ PU can also be used as a penetrative sealer which provides a penetrative water resistant barrier when applied in two or more coats. DO NOT use as a primary waterproofing membrane . Use only in conjunction with DUROPROOF™ waterproofing membranes . DUROPRIME™ PU dries by evaporation of the solvent and then cures upon contact with water vapour in the air.
